Hello everyone and welcome to the mini version of my full size Bash Buggy (https://technicrcgarage.com/skatepark-rc-bash-buggy) one of the main issues of the big bash buggy was how big and sometimes impractical it was, it also did not include a bodywork. In order to fix all those issues I created this mini version.
DRIVETRAIN:
This mini version uses the same drivetrain setup as the big one, using 4 BW motors (https://buwizz.com/shop/buwizz-3-0-2-x-buwizz-motor/) but alot more compact, lengthwise and widthwise it still uses the heavy duty driveshafts and hubs to ensure it is solid. Drivetrain has loads of power to power it through jumps (see video) and help it reach a top speed of about 30 kmh!
STEERING:
Because of how thin the structure is the steering rack assembly is only 5 studs long, compared to a regular 7 studs gear rack. It works really smooth too. It is powered as always by a Control + L motor.
SUSPENSION:
To be able to absorb all the bumps and jumps this car can take it needs a good amount of suspension. When fully compressed the car almost bottoms out with the ground so it has a nice clearance and suspension travel to absorb everything.
