SKATEPARK RC BASH BUGGY

Buggy made for the skatepark

$4.50

This car does not focus on exterior appearance but on performance, especially on a skatepark. In the videos it seems that it does not jump far and that's because I wasn't never full sending it off the ramp. And the highlight of this model is clearly the 31 km/h (19 mph)

DRIVETRAIN:

This MOC features a full 4x4 driveline powered by 4 buwizz motors connected to their innermost output. Does not produce loads of power but it's enough for high-speed ramp launching and dirt-speeding, as you will see on the videos.

STEERING:

The steering was the most complex bit of the work by far since if uses a 9l beam connected to a gear rack part (3743) and the "funny" shaped structures attached to the arms. And they are there to add an ANTI-ACKERMAN geometry to the steering to limit understeer. Still understeers a bit at high speed but much less.

SUSPENSION:

This section of the build is probably the highlight because the arms suspension parts, ANTI-ROLL bars are actually decently  complex. Let's start first with the arms: They are really chunky and have some structures that provide friction to enhance dampening It is really effective since otherwise the car would be bouncing all the time on landings. Then anti-roll bars make this car really stable in landing especially. They almost fully lock the side movement of the vehicle!
