This is my first ever alternative build and it's from a popular set, 42093! I do think that considering the limited amount of parts the set had it is recreated quite well compared to the real car...

DRIVETRAIN:
This MOC is equipped with RWD through a differential driving a "recreation" of a F6, not functional. But with 3x 4368 and 6x 4369 you can make a functional F6! You can also easily swap the rear wheels by wider ones (56145+44309).
STEERING:
This model includes HoG steering on the roof (which can be removed) to steer the front wheels. The angle isn't great but sufficient for this size of car. No gear rack is used just a simple lever mechanism. And note that the whole chassis is completely different to official 42093.
BODYWORK DETAILS:
Obviously because of part limitations all details are not recreated exactly as they should but I think it is pretty good. It features headlights, tail lights, huge rear wing and much more.
FINAL NOTES:
When purchasing this MOC you will get a detailed 154 page long PDF. Some parts of the build can be fragile so don't make it fall off a table or things like that.
